I've been on several hikes with these. Not the lightest, but they hold up well. The spike caps got lost somewhere on the first hike.

The wrist strap rubs. There was a scratch on the handle when I bought it, which I noticed at home. Otherwise, just a basic stick, works.

A good basic telescopic rod. The basic problem with these twistlocks is of course that they don't withstand abuse very well, so you have to be careful with the extension. Of course, this is more of a user problem than a product problem.
