ProduktbeskrivningDesigned for endurance distance swimmers and those looking for increased buoyancy. Wetsuit of choice for 2007 Ironman World Champion Chris McCormack and seven time Ironman New Zealand winner Cameron Brown. Aerodome Core Equilibrium lifts the torso and legs into the optimum swimming position. Yamamoto Aerodome Neoprene- Second generation of Airlite Neoprene, first used on Orca 3.8, new features include Aerodome Core Equilibrium, Hydrolift Buoyancy Cells and Aquatread Forearm Pannels.
The all new Orca 3.8 has been further refined to provide more buoyancy than any other triathlon wetsuit, making it ideal for endurance distance swimmers, and those who want all the help they can get. The 3.8 features the unique AeroDome Core Equilibrium, which wraps 5mm panels of Yamamoto AeroDome neoprene completely around the torso area of the wetsuit, providing the core of your body with more than 30% more buoyancy. Hundreds of air cavities within the neoprene act to place you in the optimum swimming position, raising your legs and torso in the water for increased power and speed. The 3.8 also introduces new HydroLift Buoyancy Cells – these cells of foam are positioned on the forearm area of the sleeves on the wetsuit. They assist with the reduction of arm fatigue by helping to raise your arms out of the water in the recovery phase of the stroke. Orca’s new AquaTread forearm panel has been developed to increase power with each stroke. 3mm neoprene has been pressed into a tyre tread-like surface, to grab the water. The panel has also been moulded to increase the water catchment area. Flexibility is also of crucial importance and the Orca 3.8 benefits from the 2mm CardioFlex chest panel. This panel allows for greater freedom of movement across the chest and shoulders.
