Poikittaiset ilmakanavat tekevät tämän todella epävakaaksi kyljellään nukkuvalle. Kun alustan jättää sopivan pehmeäksi, niin ilma pakenee alustan toiseen laitaan, jolloin tasapainon säilyttäminen kyljellään on haastavaa. Uni jää helposti kevyemmäksi, kun pitää pitää tasapainoa. Aiemmassa alustassani oli pitkittäiset ilmakanavat, jolloin ilma jäi reunimmaisiin kanaviin ja tuki hyvin kylkiasennossa. Tällä alustalla pitää ilmeisesti nukkua tajuttoman kylkiasennossa lantio jonkin verran kohti alustaa, jottei keikahda alustalta nukkuessa.
