I've been thinking about a mesh layer for a long time and I found this T-shirt at a good price, so I decided to start with it. The idea is that maybe the T-shirt will work even on a cool summer day, even under another T-shirt. I haven't tried it yet. The shirt ended up on the ski slope for a day and then on a 5-day ski hike on the ice in early winter. You won't even notice the shirt, so it must be good then. Warm and feels comfortable even when sweaty, just like a merino wool coat should. Someone has complained that 100% merino breaks down on the first use. So far, I haven't noticed any signs of breaking down, although the backpack during that ski hike certainly caused extra friction. Of course, the long-sleeved shirt of the merino layer and additional layers were worn over the shirt the whole time. And there are reinforcements in the areas of highest wear. I recommend it. Time will tell how durable it really is.

Works well for winter commuting as a base layer, on top of which you can add an additional layer depending on the cold. I cycle with a backpack on my back so my back breathes better.

The product quality seems great! I was instantly warmer when I put it on. Although I would recommend getting a size bigger than what the measurements call for. I ordered based on the measurements and my size was too small. Not a big deal if you live in Finland and can return for free. But from the US it is $30 minimum to ship back. I am unable to test the longevity of the item because I plan to return it or resell it.

Good t-shirt I use when it's hot or when it's cold . The reinforced shoulder is very useful when carrying a backpack or a rifle sling .

I don't really know if this is a fish or a bird. I've used it on two trips and it did its job. On one the temperature was +20 and on the other +13. However, maybe at its best in even cooler weather, even though I bought this for warm weather. Update: Absolutely essential base layer for really versatile situations. Now if I'm going to do any outdoor stuff, I'll put this on as the bottom layer, if the weather is any cooler.
