Product description

Guide BC is a ski touring and Nordic skating boot. It is made with Lundhags classic shell principle and a removable felt inner liner. The Guide BC is a stable boot with a durable cellular rubber base. It insulates well against the cold from below and is optimal in wet conditions as the inner liner can be removed and replaced.

Made from Perwanger® split leather, the shaft is a hybrid design between our 1-layer and 3-layer boots. A sturdy 3-layer construction encloses the foot and distributes pressure over the laces. The removable inner liner made from 3mm wool felt, has a soft padded top edge and an integrated HFC™ (Heel Fit Control™) heel grip.Medium high boot for tour skiing and nordic skating, for Rottefella NNN BC-Binding.
For ski touring and nordic skating, it also works for walking.

One of the warmest BC monos available. The monot breathes well and the removable felt lining is practical on longer trips. The felt lining reduces the interior of the mono to such an extent that it is usually worth taking one size larger. The fit is not quite top class, I think the Alpina Alaska can be laced more firmly on the foot. I bought these for cold weather, when I felt that the Alpina in Alaska was not warm enough in severe frosts.

My shoe size is 42/43, depending on the manufacturer. I ordered size 42 overalls and these are the right size. Sturdy and sturdy shaft, but room to move with the toes. Warm ones. My feet felt dry all day, sometimes moving and sometimes soaking. The edge of the stem is a bit tight on the calf, but it doesn't shape it.

When tightening, the mouth always remains loose, so if you ski with these closed, buy leg warmers as well. High-quality overalls that will last a lifetime.

The best ski boats I've ever ridden. Easy to drive in, sturdy enough for even an experienced skier, even for light scuba diving. Toes in a good way spacious. Detachable felt lining for easy drying in hiking conditions.

I ended up opting for a mountain sling with a BC tie and monos instead of more modern tie fasteners. Skiing with the mono was nice when the mounts were good and the mono sat well on the leg. The Lundhags mono was suitably sturdy but comfortable to wear and breathed well. In case of more severe frosts, I took a slightly bigger size than normal to get a hiking sock and a wool sock under the felt lining. Normally my size is around 44.5 and 46 felt suitable with a pair of socks. At least -10 degrees below zero, this was great enough. A really good choice for winter walks!

These boats are great. Always worried about buying boots online but they fit perfectly for my size. I love the extra stiffness that they have compared to other brands I have used that gives me more control of the ski. Although stiff, they do not pinch above the toe which is great and can be a problem with this type of boot. Nice to have a boot brand where quality of manufacture is still a priority and I will be able trust the boot for a long time. A bit of extra room in the toe box but I have narrow feet and it is manageable. Need to take care of the inner linings when putting boots on as they can get pushed down and bunch up. The linings will be a nice feature on multi day trips however.

The mono has excellent space on the toes in height. Removable lining is handy to dry and acts as a slipper if necessary. No blisters after the first 3 days of use.
