They work both on long Järvinen forest skis and on the tarred wooden skis of the Swedish army, where they are absolutely brilliant. Demanding boots with a sufficiently flexible sole for traditional skiing. The only ones that work like this for me are the Fischer bcx5 boots. All the others have had too stiff soles, which has made them into sleigh-making machines.
