High-quality shoes, but I would only order if you can fit. I myself have rather narrow feet (considerably narrower than Finns on average). I ordered according to Hanwag's size chart and at least with larger sizes the problem was not the length or width of the shoe, there is plenty of room for the toes. Instead, the slightly inwardly curved profile of the shoe and the shape of the sole caused that there was just no room for the little toe in the shoe, despite hard work, and the shoes were not comfortable, so I sold them on. In addition, the stitching on the ankle part of the shoe began to unravel very easily.

A shoe that feels extremely high-quality. Fits well, the wide toe gives plenty of room for the toes. Slippery sole in winter weather.

Even after a short period of use, the shoes have proven to be really comfortable. The experiences will probably only get better.

A Hanwag, welted and very good quality. But when Hanwag writes that the shoes are made a little larger to ensure that the toes don't hit the front when walking downhill, that's not true. I ordered a size larger and it only just fits. Extremely tight. But Varuste itself is top notch. Well packaged and delivered extremely quickly :-)

Even the first time it fits well, and now that I've walked about 100 km, the fit keeps getting better!

Straight out of the box, the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever owned. Thanks to the possibility of refounding, these make long-lasting companions for hikes.

Built to last, with little to no wear-in. Price and fast shipping were spot on. They feel perceptibly lighter on the foot than scale weight. I had a quite similar pair back in the 1970’s, when goose down vests, heavy hiking boots, and John Denver were considered cool (by some). These are higher quality and better designed than my pair of yesteryear.
