The lightweight, versatile Grünten Lady is a hard-wearing boot built for the mountains, but still fit for comfortable everyday use. Its mid-cut double-stitched leather upper provides good freedom of movement plus protection for the ankle. And its padded cuff adds a further layer of comfort. The sturdy Vibram® Guffert sole ensures good grip and stability and helps prevent slipping in rugged terrain. And should it ever wear out, it can be easily resoled.

— Show originalFor me the best hiking shoes ever. The leather can withstand a lot and is much easier to keep waterproof than any Goretex shoe. In addition, the shoe can be easily retreaded thanks to the double-stitched sole.| Overall rating |
This is my second pair of Hanwag Grunten Boots. My first pair are 7 years old, well worn and still in great shape! I bought a second pair to alternate between the two because I love them and want to wear them for the rest of my life. I am from Canada and could not find them here or the USA so I went all the way to Finland to find them. Thank you Varuste for shipping to Canada!
