These are a quality European made leather boot with replaceable Vibram soles due to their Norwegian welt construction. Ordering my normal size they ran a bit bigger than expected so I have to decide if a heavy sock will make up the difference. If I decide not, I will resell these new boots over here in the US. The cheapest discounted return shipping to Finland was about 80 USD so be sure of your sizing before ordering for overseas shipment

Quality boots. Comfortable and no real break in required.
I've received my second pair of Hanwag boots. This time I decided to go with the Grünten. The boot is beautiful full grain leather, corrected a bit for better appearance. But still visible it is a full grain leather. The hardwer is behind the Tashi excellent ball bearing system. Theboot is roomy. And after 2 short trips,(30 minutes each) I had some pressure points, which will dissappear eventually after fully break in. The leather is a kind a matt. And looked a bit dry. So, I applied a few layers of Saphir creme universal. Varuste shipped the parcel immediately. Thy hacmve a best price, and 2 years warranty for the peace of your mind. What are you waiting for then?

Shoes are very stiff, so you have to break them in properly...
Maintenance is easy because they do not have Goretex protection, clean and polish with leather grease or leather wax (this makes them waterproof and beautiful again).Brand
