Generally I would have given 4 stars, however got the trousers at a great price with Varuste, hence an extra star. Trousers are quite robust and quality is good, that said there are other trousers on the market that are just as good.

One of the best hiking pants for use from the local forests to the wilderness of Lapland. The areas where the fabric wears out first are doubled and there is a second layer underneath to wear. The sizing is a bit annoyingly "urban chic", because when you want pants that are loose enough in the thighs, there is a lot of extra space at the waist and the belt wrinkles the hem annoyingly. In practice, you have to buy bigger ones and narrow them down. And I'm a pretty average athletic guy, and I'm not super strong in the legs.
