Hip-length outdoors jacket that is slightly longer in the back and has a fixed, adjustable hood. Just as comfortable trekking as it is when biking to and from work. It provides protection from the wind and light rain showers while also offering good ventilation, which means that you will not become as sweaty as you would when wearing a fully waterproof garment. It is made from G-1000 Lite and has G-1000 Original on the shoulders. Two vertical breast pockets and two side pockets, all of which are hidden behind flaps. Two-way zipper in the front hidden behind a protective flap that has push buttons at the hem, in the middle of the chest and at the chin. Adjustable hem and push buttons at the sleeve cuffs.

A versatile, neat and comfortable jacket. After a month of daily use, it deserves almost a full five stars.
The model of the jacket is a bit narrow from the shoulders, so it might be cramped for a more bulky wearer. The jacket doesn't hold up too well (at least not waxed) against wind or rain (and this is certainly not a shell jacket).

I purchased Skogsö to replace my trusty old Halti shell jacket. Wanted to have a jacket with some breathability, something that I can wear year-around and is not too baggy. I am 180 cm / 82 kg, with 95 cm waist. I have size M which is fits perfectly: I tested that I can wear a light down jacket under the jacket with enough mobility. Zippers work flawlessly, cuff buttons are fine for my smaller than average wrists/hands. After wearing the jacket with a fleece jacket + long sleeved undershirt in near zero temps, I'm happy how it keeps me warm even though it's just a shell without any liner. Compared to my previous shell, it definitely breathes too.

Fantastic coat at a great price. Would highly recommend this jacket for a 3 season jacket.

A well-fitting, really versatile jacket. Clean enough to be kept in the villages as well. Lasts years of active use in all seasons. Goes well with a pair of underlayers when skiing in the winter, with just a t-shirt in the summer. It breathes well without a membrane. When it gets wet, it does not dry immediately when there is a cotton blend. Functional pockets.

Perfect fit, daily use and material quality !

All in all, it was a really good jacket. Really light and avoided the use of velcro. Well insulated all the way down to -5 degrees, until I had to start putting a little thicker on top. Actually, the only suggestion for improvement would be that the chest pockets could continue a little lower, when at the moment they end at the same point as the zipper, which means there is a greater risk that something will fall out of the pocket by accident. The material is really high-quality and the L size fits my 180 cm body well and a hoodie can fit underneath.
