Product description

Aclima WoolNet is a base layer for varying activity all year made in 100% Merinowool. The mesh construction has a unique ability to transport moisture and made in wool it also gives good insulation. The product breathes when you are moving and insulates when you stop. The sides are rib knitted for comfort and to preserve the shape of the product. You also have shoulder panels which make it comfortable to wear a backpack. On top of this it is body odour resistant and 100% recyclable. For the first time we can offer technical underwear in mesh for women as well.

Used for:
Average to intense activity where extra insulation is required like mountain - hiking, cross-country skiing, hunting or trekking.

Useamman vuoden harkinnan jälkeen hankin tämän verkkoalusasun normaalien merinovilla-alusasujen lisäksi. Toistaiseksi ollut käytössä aluasuna välikaudella (syksy). Tuntuu toimivan, kun metsästyskäytössä välillä tarvitaan lämmikettä alle ja välillä liikutaan reippaasti hiki pintaan. Verkkoneulottu tuote ei jousta samalla tavoin kuin muut merinovilla-alusasut, joten otin itse hieman reilumman koon, ettei ole liian tiukka ja on ollut mukava.

Älyttömän lämmin, mutta samalla hengittää. Ei paljoa hiki muodosta ongelmia. Näissä on materiaali polvien kohta paksumpaa, eli on vähän enemmän kulutettavaa. Vesisateessa pyöräilyn jälkeen polvien kohdalta ainoa mihin kosteutta jää. Kuivui tosi nopeasti hiustenkuivaajalla. Muuten oli muualta hämmästyttävän nopeasti kuiva ja lämmin, vaikka juuri oli kastunut. Tuntuu hyvältä, materiaali on laadukasta ja varuste.netin hinta oli kaikista edullisin.

Size L fits well; my measurements are 191 cm / 86 kg. It works well under merino base layers in cold weather and is perfect under a drysuit in late summer.

What a shame. The product feels great to wear and performs exactly as promised. However, I wore the set for a week in the wilderness, and the trousers didn't seem to hold up. The knees started pilling on the very first day, and almost every time I took off my outer trousers, I found a new hole or tear. Admittedly, I wasn't just sitting around a campfire; I was putting them through a rigorous test. I like the product, but it’s hard to recommend it when weighing the price against the durability.
