— Show originalI have owned this branded headlamp for several years and I have been really satisfied! This is my third BD Storm 450 lamp and I have been pleased to find that it now only takes 3 batteries (instead of 4) and that it also runs on a rechargeable battery. I spend several months in Africa every year and this lamp is used almost every day. The best features are e.g. red light, which does not attract insects in the dark, and night vision remains in the eyes. 450 lm, on the other hand, is very sufficient light also for e.g. on a dark campsite, when you have to look around and observe possible animals. The only downside of the Storm lamps has been that they have eaten up the batteries at a pretty ferocious pace. I wish that this had also changed now in this latest model. But a great headlamp overall and easy to use with lots of useful features.| Overall rating |
