Petzl Noctilight

Very satisfied, good packaging, original packaging intact, good price, fast delivery. The Petzl Noctilight is a really nice product that does what it says. By inserting a small Petzl or Blackdiamond headlamp inside it becomes a perfect lantern that does not dazzle especially if hung with its cord on the roof of an igloo tent. The lamp is switched on directly from the outside through a flexible transparent wall, it weighs little and also becomes a case for the headlamp.

Really good for storing a headlamp and turning it into a table lamp. The supplied hook and string are not very handy for hanging from the roof of the tent, but it works for lack of anything better.

A little pointless, especially if you buy a Tikka that comes with a diffuser bag.

I bought it more as a case for my headtorch. It does work as a lantern but you will probably be better of buying an actual lantern. Its a little gimmicky.

A great little product that is both a good transport case for a headlamp and a handy extra light that can be hung on a tree at a campsite and the light spreads over a larger area. The Black Diamond Storm 450 headlamp, with which I have used it, also goes well here.

Great added value for a headlamp! Works, e.g. as a tent light.

Spreads the light well and turning on the lamp works just fine. In addition to using the lantern, I bought the case to protect the lamp when it is in a backpack, where the lamp has not turned on while in the case. A hanging string is good when you can detach the other end so you can use fixed links/etc. hang.
