1. Day trips
A tarp is a perfectly reasonable addition to day trips. With a tarp, a few stakes, and perhaps some bungee cords or attachment ropes, you can quickly set up a nice shelter for sitting during a coffee or lunch break in the wind or rain. Tip! Trimming is easy when you tie prusik knots to the ropes for extreme tightness adjustment.

2. Canopy for hammocking or camping
If your hammock setup doesn't include a built-in canopy, it's essential to have one, especially when outdoor activities take place in regions with unpredictable weather conditions.
