The extended vestibule, ANJAN 2 GT was designed specifically as a very light tent for mobile adventures in warmer and snow-free conditions. And while it is indeed very light, it also have unexpected strength. During development, we set up an Anjan GT in our wind machine (a converted snow making blower), and left it for 6 to 8 hours in very strong winds. The Anjan GT stood strong with no problem.


Anjan GT models have been redesigned for 2017, replacing the dual opening pole sleeves and Lock-Tip poles with single opening sleeves and standard poles. To retain the excellent venting effect of having the outer stop short of coming all the way to the ground, we incorporated catenary patterning into the bottom of the outer tent walls, creating permanent gaps to allow full air flow. In addition to its venting effect, the new design is easier to pitch, especially in windy conditions.

The Anjan 2 GT’s inner tent has an all mesh door and a large, triangular mesh vent in the rear wall for constant air flow. In very warm conditions, you can fully roll up the rear wall of the outer tent.

Given all of this, the Anjan 2 GT is perfect for 3 season backpacking trips and summer bicycle and paddle tours, and is also well-suited for hunters on scouting trips or on early season, minimalist hunts. It is also ideal for warm weather comfort seekers who want to “size up” but still keep the weight very low: the Anjan 2 GT is a surprisingly light – yet huge – solo shelter option for those who hold spaciousness in the highest regard!

  • Kerlon 1000 outer tent fabric and 9mm poles make for a supremely lightweight tent that is still quite strong.
  • 3 season design: ventilation is built into the construction, and the inner tent mesh areas have no backing fabric panels.
  • Tunnel construction offers maximum space to weight ratio and is the ideal choice for mobile journeys.
  • A good amount of room for two occupants and their gear.
  • Linked but seperable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching.
  • Tunnel design requires only four pegs for pitching, and the simple, single-opening, continuous sleeve and pole tensioner pole system is quick to pitch and remarkably stable.
  • A single entrance and extended vestibule afford easy access and maximum storage space, but keep the weight very low.
  • An optional footprint covers only the inner tent area and not the vestibule. It connects directly to the tent, and can be left attached during pitching.
  • The inner tent can be replaced with a Mesh Inner tent.
  • The outer and inner tents can be used separately. Pitching the inner tent alone requires optional pole holders.

Possiedo diverse tende Hille e questa Anjan 2 GT è la mia preferita per le escursioni estive/autunnali. In questa tenda si sono dormito circa 70 notti. Spazio sufficiente per una persona, con due persone e un cane inizia ad essere un po' angusto. La grande abside è sicuramente un punto a favore, può ospitare comodamente due persone per cucinare anche se nell'abside c'è una rinka e altra spazzatura. È bello trascorrere del tempo lì se è una giornata piovosa. Lo spazio interno è abbastanza alto perché un ragazzo alto 173 cm possa sedersi con la schiena dritta senza che la testa tocchi il soffitto. Ho messo un paio di fili per asciugare all'interno, sul colmo e nell'abside, ma ovviamente non ci si possono asciugare vestiti molto pesanti. La tenda ventila abbastanza bene e questo ci porta anche al lato più negativo della tenda. Vale a dire, con un forte vento, sembra che i capelli ti stiano cadendo dalla testa quando soffia così forte dentro. Ho risolto il problema cucendo un pezzo in più del tessuto di una tenda vecchia e rotta all'interno della porta (anelli di gomma per gli angoli), che può essere fissato alla parete anteriore con bottoni per bloccare il vento. Il pezzo è sufficientemente basso in modo che la parte superiore rimanga aperta e la ventilazione funzioni dalla parte superiore. Questo risolve l'eccessiva ventilazione all'interno della tenda e soprattutto al bordo del pavimento in caso di forte vento. Non sintonizzo questo pezzo quasi tutte le sere. + la borsa dell'imballaggio è abbastanza spaziosa + la ventilazione funziona + leggerezza + grande abside + resiste al vento forte - a volte ventila troppo bene

Non ho ancora rimosso il tag EAC quando ho ricevuto la tenda, ma senza di esso non ho avuto problemi. Molto leggera e di ottima qualità per la tenda. Il colore sabbia è perfetto.

Molto soddisfatto di Anjan 2GT. Stavamo cercando una nuova tenda per 2 persone in grado di resistere alle intemperie tipiche della costa occidentale scozzese di vento e pioggia e, sebbene siano i primi giorni, sono soddisfatto del design e delle prestazioni. Facile da montare. Grande spazio nel vestibolo per riporre oggetti coperti. So che avrei potuto spendere meno e ottenere una tenda che si sarebbe esibita, ma penso che la spesa extra si ripagherà negli anni futuri.

È stato coinvolto nel Bear Tour. Era piacevolmente leggero da trasportare e funzionava bene sia con il caldo che con la pioggia. Le zone notte sono appena sufficienti per due quando Piattaforme gonfiabili, ma nello spazio ascesso molto bene per le coccole e le persone.
