A bomber 3-layer shell built to blend both the movement of four-way stretch with the ultimate protection of BD.dry™ while touring or ducking the rope, the Recon Stretch Pro Shell seals out moisture on storm days but keeps you dry on the skintrack without sacrificing durability. Reinforced forearms, elbows and hips add protection in high-wear areas from packs, tree branches and other on-mountain obstacles. The snow helmet compatible hood and internal removable powder skirt also adds armor against the elements while charging deep in the backcountry.

Molto bello. La vestibilità è buona, veste larga quindi può ospitare facilmente gli strati sottostanti (per riferimento sono 1 m90 e 90 kg ho ordinato una taglia grande). È elastico e impermeabile. Nel complesso sembra molto ben costruito e ha buone caratteristiche incluso un tag Recco che non è menzionato da nessuna parte. L'ho usato a -25 gradi con un pile e un piccolo piumino (a volte) sotto ed è bastato. Il piccolo inconveniente se dovessi trovarne uno è la tasca per lo skipass sul braccio, è abbastanza profonda quindi la carta può arrivare fino all'interno del gomito e una volta ho piegato un po' la mia carta quando non stavo attento, il riposizionamento della carta in tasca ha risolto il problema.
