Crafted in collaboration with elite trail runners, the VJ Lightspeed sets out to claim the title of the world's fastest trail running shoe. At its core lies the SuperFOAMance midsole, an innovative nitrogen-infused material designed for exceptional cushioning and energy return. Unlike traditional EVA foam, this cutting-edge foam is lighter, more responsive, and more durable, ensuring a comfortable and propulsive ride that doesn't easily rip.
The midsole is further enhanced by a branched composite plate, engineered to propel the runner forward like a spring while offering lateral flexibility for superior balance on varied terrain. Complementing this performance-driven design is VJ's renowned Superior Contact outsole, renowned for its unmatched grip on any surface.
The Lightspeed's upper is a marvel of engineering, blending lightweight breathability with durability in a seamless one-piece construction that hugs the foot like a sock while providing essential support. Adding to the shoe's precision fit is VJ's innovative Fitlock-system, which locks the foot from the arch, offering both optimal fit and enhanced protection against impacts.
