Halcyon Aura

The Halcyon Aura is the pinnacle of simplicity and it is this fact that makes it a great regulator for all levels of diver, be it one taking their first underwater fin strokes or a deep cave explorer. The Aura is a simple downstream second stage that simply provides gas when it is asked to, and when it does the smoothness and reassuring flow is more similar to that found on higher spec models. A user adjustable Air Control Vane allows air flow to be redirected around the regulator when not in use to limit the chance of a random freeflow in high flow or when scootering, this feature is very useful if the regulator is used on stage cylinders or as a backup reg.

The purge button of the Halcyon Aura takes up most of the front cover and as such makes finding and an operating it very easy, an absolute must when you need to clear a regulator quickly. True to Halcyons exploration pedigree a neat little feature on the Aura second stage in the use of a standard nut hose attachment, when in the feild this makes removing the reg from a hose that much easier than some regs which require a dedicated tool.
