The Soulo is a completely free standing solo tent that is both remarkably light and expedition-ready. An expedition ready solo tent that is both remarkably strong and light. Fully free standing, with an integrated vestibule.
Since the Soulo's Free standing construction allows it to be pitched almost anywhere, and since it is remarkably light and tremendously strong, it is ideal for almost any adventure. During its development, nearly every tester found it perfect for whatever trip it was used on. Mountaineers, both recreational and professional, will take to its strength and low weight, as will backcountry hunters and winter campers. Bicycle, motorcycle and paddle tourers will choose it for its free standing simplicity and compact packed size. Backpackers in all seasons, long distance trekkers, and weekend hikers alike will be drawn to its light weight and integrated vestibule, and ski tourers and ski mountaineers will appreciate its snow load handling. Tall users will love its length, and all will appreciate its remarkable overall roominess.

- Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric and 9mm poles make for a very lightweight yet supremely stable tent.
- All season construction: outer tent walls extend to the ground and mesh areas are backed with adjustable fabric panels.
- Dome construction with multiple pole crossing points provide outstanding snow-load handling capability.
- Plenty of room for one occupant and his or her gear.
- Linked but seperable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching.
- Fully free standing dome design requires no pegs for pitching, and the straightforward short sleeve and clip pole system make for quick, easy set up.
- The single entrance/single vestibule configuration affords easy access as well as storage space.
- An optional footprint covers the entire area of the outer tent, including the vestibules. It connects directly to the tent, and can be left attached during pitching.
- The inner tent can be replaced with a Mesh Inner tent.
- The outer and inner tents can be used separately. Pitching the inner tent alone requires optional pole holders.

— Mostrar originalCompré 2 carpas Soulo. La cremallera de ventilación de ambas carpas goteó, lo que provocó que el equipo de campamento se mojara en el porche y en el interior de la carpa. Si hay viento y lluvia, el sistema de ventilación no parece estar bien diseñado, ya que el agua entra por debajo de la cubierta superior, a través de la cremallera no impermeable y hacia la tienda. En condiciones de viento sin lluvia, la carpa parece brillante: ¡"a prueba de bombas"! Ahora estoy esperando 5 días para que Varuste responda a mi correo electrónico de garantía para poder iniciar el proceso de devolución. El servicio de atención al cliente de Hilleberg parece rápido y están felices de ver las cremalleras defectuosas, pero no puedo publicarles directamente y tengo que esperar a que Varuste responda. Investigué mucho sobre esta carpa, fue casi una buena compra, pero una carpa de montaña que cuesta £ 900 necesita un sistema de ventilación que no tenga fugas... La carpa en sí tiene tantas críticas positivas en todas partes que realmente no tengo nada que agregar.
Caro, sí, pero seguramente una inversión duradera y algo que uno usará durante mucho tiempo en todas las condiciones climáticas, excepto quizás un ciclón...

Tuve un akto antes y era horrible, tan estrecho en comparación con esto, el Soulo está en una clase diferente, mucho espacio para la cabeza y mucho menos "flappy" en el viento, vale cada centavo sobre el akto.
Consideré la versión BL antes de comprar la versión RL, los precios son tan cercanos que realmente se reducen al peso, para mí, el RL ya es más carpa de la que necesito para el Reino Unido e Irlanda, por lo que el peso adicional para la versión BL no valió la pena. .
