Descripción

This is Halite's original "proof of concept" design when they first started developing a sleeping bag system. Reduced weight, pack size and bulk by removing fill from part of the underside of the bag and using one side zipper we were able to get this heat booster down to 800g.

Size, length and constructions is the same as it´s big brother and the Overbag light will easily wrap over an expedition down bag without compressing the down. A 3D design with self supporting walls prevent compression of the primary bag and maximise loft and warmth. 2 sliders on the main zipper allows extra ventilation.

Because the Overbag light does not use insulation in parts of the bottom section, it´s big enough to slide even some of the thickest sleeping pads inside the bag. Then, just add a thin foam insulation underneath and then you will have a super toasty set up.

Inside the hood it´s a compartment perfect for stuffing your down jacket and create a comfortable pillow. Fill is only removed under the bag, from the shoulders to the lower leg. This way the footbox, sidewalls and hood is fully insulated and boosts the primary bags performance. The Overbag Light should not be used alone, this is strictly a booster for 3-season to expedition bags.

This bag does not only increase the warmth. It helps you move the dew-point in extreme cold and long term use. Increase the warmth and decreasing the need of maintenance  of your primary bag. Can be used with both synthetic and down bags.
  • Shaped to fit over expedition down and synthetic sleeping bags
  • Wide & angled foot box for extended comfort
  • Side wrap construction with zippers on top to prevent heat loss and cold spots through zipper on innerbag
  • Drawcord adjustment to hood
  • Sleeve inside hood for pillow insert to increase comfort
  • Oversized stuffsack for smooth stuffing in the field
  • Anatomical shaped adjustable hood
  • Zip; YKK #8 Vislon 2-Way, 142cm
  • Insulfil Thermo double layer to top and hood, combined with single layered over the footbox and hood

Parece realmente efectivo. Compacto y ligero en un espacio relativamente pequeño. Probado solo a 10 grados bajo cero con una bolsa de plumón ligera y en estas temperaturas funcionó como debería
