The Cressi hybrid wetsuit is inspired by the underwater caldera karua, located in the vanuatu archipelago in the south pacific ocean. The graphics at the wetsuit's sleeves recall the lava of the volcanic eruption. The fluorescent-coloured sleeves, the upper back panel, and the ankles give maximum visibility when in open water.

Karua has been entirely designed with the help of sophisticated 3d software for the modelling of wetsuits, which made it possible to study the fitting of the materials and the different sizes on virtual mannequins. Ln this way, cressi not only facilitates an innovative approach to research and development, but also obtains a positive environmental impact by eliminating unnecessary sample collections.

Karua is an ideal wetsuit for all kinds of watersport activities in water temperatures between 18 and 26°c. Both the exterior and interior are smooth, comfortable and durable nylon-covered 3mm ultrastretch neoprene, which provides a great flexibility, uv protection, and protects swimmers against scratches while ensuring complete freedom of movement. The new iow neckline design with the 2mm glide skin xt neoprene has been studied to avoid any friction around the neck, while maintaining a perfect seal against water infiltration. On the inner part of the under-zip panel, you can customize the wetsuit with your name and stash a key for any means of transport in the special pocket. The ykk back zip guarantees tightness and durability over time: the slider is made of anti-corrosion metal material, to ensure greater sturdiness when pulling the lanyard to zip/unzip the wetsuit.
