Good gloves all around. Holds water well and is really comfortable in the hand. You should take the gloves one size bigger so that in colder weather you can fit merino mittens for additional insulation.

better feel on the fingers than dirt bag gloves. The included wax should be used. I have used it myself in skiing and reservist work and it has worked well. The price-quality ratio doesn't quite match. I wouldn't pay much more for dirt bag gloves

The gloves fit very well and the features are just right. I got the gloves thinking of use in slightly colder weather than the insulation of these gloves is sufficient for - of course it depends on the heart rate. My own subjective experience is that for low-heart rate hiking, it is enough up to about 5-10 degrees below zero, even with a higher heart rate in colder weather. It is not substantially warmer than a slightly colder weather glove, but a sturdier structure and better withstands scuffing with skis and skins.

Good gloves. It starts to freeze a bit at higher temperatures than I thought, but it doesn’t bother much. Four stars.
