I got the gloves thinking of use in slightly colder weather than the insulation of these gloves is sufficient for - of course it depends on the heart rate. My own subjective experience is that for low-heart rate hiking, it is enough up to about 5-10 degrees below zero, even with a higher heart rate in colder weather. It is not substantially warmer than a slightly colder weather glove, but a sturdier structure and better withstands scuffing with skis and skins.| Overall rating |
