I have just come back from a 5 day hike in the Alpine region of Central Tasmania with my newly acquired Helsport Ringstind Superlight 1 Tent. My intial attraction to this Tent was it's lightweight, compact package which was essential for me being on a multi day Hike and quality of Materials, as I Needed a Tent to withstand the weather that this region is notorious for. I am very pleased to say that I can write this review honestly and confidently in saying that it was a dream to Hike and sleep in at our designated Campsites. It held up well with rain and Wind, it was easy to set up and pack up and I felt that there was plenty of room inside the Tent as well as the Vestibule for extra storage such as Boots and Camera Gear. I'm looking forward to taking my new Tent on many more adventures in the near future!

The tent is only available for a one-night trip, here are some considerations: 1.) Quick and easy to set up, only 5 wedges are needed if it is not very windy. 2.) Sufficient space for one (170 cm) hiker and equipment. 3.) A two-layer, inner tent can be removed if necessary, for example to wipe condensation off the outer tent. 4.) High-quality fabrics, the material of the outdoor tent feels pretty similar to the Kerlon 1000 of Hilleberg, which I own in Tarp 5. 5.) Despite their light weight, they hold Y-wedges well. 6.) Comes with repair needs (repair sleeve, spare arc piece, pieces of fabric, needle and threads). 7.) The packing bag is large enough to accommodate not only the tent but also the base fabric to be purchased separately. 8.) The indoor tent is an exciting model for the 3.5-season, with clean mesh fabric only where the air circulates in the tent. The structure reduces tonnage but may make the tent hot in warmer weather. 9.) Ventilating the tent feels like a moderate power, but there is some condensation. This is hard for me to compare to other tents because it depends so much on the conditions. After several hours of rain, the entire inside of the tent was covered with condensation, so I removed and packed the tent separately. 10.) The fabric of the outdoor tent (silnylon) stretches in longer rain (this is what happened to me). The tent will then have to be tightened. Stretching is a property of silnylon, I don’t read it as a fault, but this is good to know. 11.) There is no adjustment at the angle attachment points. If the terrain is really rocky, you may not be able to move the wedges to tighten the tent fabric in the longer rain. In this case, the outdoor tent may touch the indoor tent and wet it. I think this is the biggest fault of the tent. I fixed this bug by adding the adjustable, about 30-cent strings to the corners after the trip itself. However, the rear corner and the "rear brush" of the tent can be tightened with the fastening cord in the middle of the back. 12.) The base fabric of the inner tent is only 40 denier fabric. I found one pine needle in the base fabric at home that had gone through the fabric. A thicker, 90 denier fabric would hardly have increased the weight of the tent tremendously, but would be much more durable than the one now in use. Although I’m a gram file, I get a base fabric for my tent (200 grams) because I think the extra weight will pay for itself as a better durability for the base. 13.) Price; not quite Hilleberg level, but expensive still. On the other hand, I believe the tent will serve for a long time Despite minor shortcomings, I give the tent five stars at this point because halves cannot be given. In halves, this would be 4.5. The lack of adjustment is easily remedied with a pair of strings and tensioners, and the thinness of the bottom in such light tents is a feature rather than a fault, as compared to Gossamer Gear’s The One, which has a floor of 10 denier. The best thing about the tent is its lightness. Setting up the tent is easy by yourself. It took the wind well in the week's open tundra, when you put your foot in the direction of the wind. The fastening seams of the tent cords and other seams held up well when the tent was set up in pink. The rain has not come inside so far. In summer, with warmer weather, I needed more ventilation. As a 160 cm person, I can sit in the tent, even though the tent is very low. For a taller person, this makes it tight. You should have a footprint (plastic is also enough), the base fabric is thin. The purchase was positive, I dare to take the tent with me on a longer trip. The downside is poor ventilation (it would be good to be able to lift the tent skirts off the ground) and the price. Also in the mood for cooking, so-called it is not possible to cover the tent.
