This came as a gift to the sister for rescue dog duties. It's reportedly been good. Vehje was also involved in our joint Hammastunturi hike and it was found there that it works everywhere. Only once was it noticed at a crossroads that it looked like the location was about 100 meters wrong, but otherwise it always seemed to look exactly right.

Good and basic safe device.
I bought a watercraft as a navigation device, so I had to invest another +150 euros in compatible water maps and a stand.
Works as it should and the signal is not unnecessarily interrupted. Waterproof.
Can be used with AA batteries or NiMH batteries and lasts quite lightly all day with a single charge, even when the screen brightness is full.
Good value for money.

Easy to use as long as the logic can be caught. So I succeeded even from an amateur without reading the instructions. One trip was involved, at times it felt like the directional arrow was pretty wild on and didn’t work reliably, but it’s hard to tell if it was a user error.
Good keys, gloves also available. When you put the monitoring on, the batteries last for more than half a day.
Lightweight, durable.

The device is great, the right size and most of all it keeps the satellite connection well. It does not immediately occur to a situation where the signal has been completely lost. On the downside goes water incontinence. At least the map is sufficient for my use, you can also find paths quite well.

A good and functional device based on a very short user experience. For map use, the screen is a bit small, but it couldn't be bigger on a handheld. Instructions for use in Finnish can be found online. They could be a little more thoroughly written, with a lot of menus and functions. The device handles everything you need.

Only a few times had time to use, but been really easy to use. It took a bit of getting used to the logic, but now the use is already starting to go smoothly. Comes with maps on the memory card, the card when inserting the device, nothing happened. But the geps into the machine caught and maps from the card to the machine geps so began to work. The maps are great!

Proven and reliable gps locator. Works well and tells you the exact location both when hiking in Lapland and when hiking. The design of the American is aging, but waterproof and drop resistant practical. When using batteries, the power runs out surprisingly quickly, ie spare batteries must always be included. The MiniSD card holder sometimes opens on its own, and especially when changing batteries. Otherwise a durable and good machine in all respects.

The product package included everything I needed and the device was relatively easy to set up. The device has worked as promised and at least with the terrain map the accuracy is quite good. The quick guide that came with the device helped you get started, but you have had to download more tutorials online.

After a short user experience, just a good device. It takes time to study all the different possibilities, and the button interface is not the easiest and most logical to realize. But the main features of using the device are learned quickly. I didn’t succeed in transferring routes to the device on my first try yet - I urgently need to look for help somewhere. The robustness and good protection of the device are convincing - it's nice to take with them in those worst conditions!

After a few short trips, it seems like a quality device.
Using menus and menus requires a little time to learn in order
the use of the device would be smooth. The included quick guide is pretty superficial
but a more comprehensive user guide, found on the Garmin website, can be accessed
already have a better understanding of the features of the device.

I use geps in field work as a geologist. The 62s and now the 64s is the best hand plaster I have used. The features are good, and navigating the forest with a topo map is easy. The buttons can be worn with gloves in the hand and in the rain without any problems, unlike all touch screens.

It’s a bit of a power-hungry machine, otherwise it gets lost there just like with other gadgets.
Try turning off bluetooth when you're not using it.

Device very good. I didn’t smart at the checkout to ask for a terrain map and I didn’t get it. The equipment package with batteries was waiting for me at the checkout ready, why couldn't a terrain map be added to it? It is quite difficult when the customer has to ask the intelligence to ask for it separately, even if it is clearly included in the package in the name of the product. Then I had to call after, when at home I only realized that the map is missing ...
Sorry if the map memory card was not included in your package. You can pick one up from our store at any time, or ask our customer service info@varuste.net to send it to your home.
It has also often happened that due to its small size, the card in a small minigrip bag goes unnoticed.
Doesn't work in precise navigation from place to place - the reason is probably the slow ping pace, which causes the direction to pound all the time and the track starts to rotate, shows the location yeah, but you should know it with free applications on your mobile phone. Really disappointing.
The product is really good feeling. However, a usage course for this would be needed. The mere map point codes are searched to see if it now conforms to any map system. You can't enter Map Points on outdoor maps even if you try something KKJ or something. Works really well when you turn on the power, so it shows you exactly where you are. That's where it stays when there are no instructions in the settings that you can use the device. In the smartphone era, everyone obviously knows such self. Well, at least I didn't go down without explaining myself first. Therefore, a course of use or even "help from a bullshit" would be in place.
