Good for clothes. There used to be a version of this with tightening straps (lengthwise), it was good for a sleeping bag. This isn't really suitable for that. A little air seeped inside and the size of the bag grew from where it had been squeezed. But really good for clothes when you can squeeze out the excess air. Clothes also don't try to expand as effectively as a down bag.

A good vacuum compression bag for clothes, sleeping bags, etc. Gets stuff into a smaller space than with traditional string compression bags. A star away from the fact that it is not completely airtight and the down flaps swell during the day. In addition, a pull cord must be attached to the valve if it is to be sensibly opened in field conditions.

Excellent, light and durable. The compression valve is convenient, but perhaps the weakest link, which is why I prefer the fur cap model for more extreme trips. However, with the help of the valve, you can really create a very tight package, so it is worth the price if this is an important feature.

With Ortlieb's guaranteed quality, the compression valve is simple but works and is airtight. Used as a pole bag for summer bike rides, keeping e.g. sleeping bag dry. The PS10 is lightweight, but the material is admirably resistant to abrasion and wear.

I own these two pieces and both are full wolves. Compression does not like and therefore because the valves are leaking, it can also be said that it is guaranteed to be waterproof (splashproof maybe). Today, bags are only used for basic use ... expensive basic bags.

Excellent dry bag. Get your clothes in a really small space backpack. Valve out (pretty tight, but opens well), clothes inside, roll it closed at least 5 times, sit on and close the valve. Strong recommendation!

I wouldn't trust this is 100% waterproof. Because there is no straps to hold the compression to the max it won't keep the bag compressed, some air gets in. Still good quality overall.
