By means of the valve mechanism air is expelled from the bag, reducing the packing volume to a minimum. The ultralightweight nylon fabric PS 10 is 100% waterproof- an ideal supplement for non waterproof baggage. The roll closure with a fabric stiffener bar is easy forone person to handle.

— Show originalGood for clothes. There used to be a version of this with tightening straps (lengthwise), it was good for a sleeping bag. This isn't really suitable for that. A little air seeped inside and the size of the bag grew from where it had been squeezed. But really good for clothes when you can squeeze out the excess air.
