Good lighting performance and easy to use. There is enough light for cooking on the porch as well as for mountain biking.
Adjusting the small knobs while wearing gloves is difficult, especially if the lamp is attached to its background, in which case the knobs partially remain under the edge.

The first experience of using the lamp was a 3-night camping trip in -25 degrees below zero in January. One charge was enough for a trip like this, where the lamp was in heavy use. Otherwise, the lamp is in high-quality condition.
One star comes from the headband. The idea of tensioning with a cable is fun, but in practice it's tiring. The tensioning cables get tangled easily. The system seems unnecessarily complicated, when traditional flexible collars have worked quite well over time.

I've had the Fenix HL60R RAPTOR+ in my head since 2017, and I ordered this superraptor for my daughter as a Christmas present. I tested a little myself and this new model is at least not worse than the old one. The bike's headlight is also a bicycle lamp from the Fenix product family, so credit for these is enough.
Recommendations.

All in all, a good lamp. When the lamp is removed from the head, the headband does not stay attached to the headlamp, but must always be flapped in place. It helped when you made your own tuning from the pauluting thread. Of course, the headband can be cut off, because the headband is good. The switches of the light bulbs are quite low, so in freezing weather it is a bit difficult to press them with cold fingers.

Great powerful headtorch. My only comments would be that i wish the boa tightening system had a bit more length as it only just fits around my glimbing helmet making it an inconvenience to put on

The product is efficient and practical. The tightening mechanism is easy. Turning the lights on and off and adjusting them takes some getting used to, because finding the right button and adjustment takes time if you're used to using one button (here, two separate buttons).
I have used a headlamp in trail running and so far the light output has seemed sufficient.

Bought for winter lighting. No experience yet with battery life in severe frosts. It is very practical to be able to use either low beam or high beam separately. It is also a plus that the battery can be changed to a spare battery while hiking. In my opinion, usb-c charging is a better option than Lumonite charging, which only Lumonite's own plug is suitable for.

An extremely efficient lamp! The first time I used it on the jogging path, the passer-by shouted at me that it was "dazzling" when I had forgotten to turn on the turbo setting. I learned once that this is the same as keeping your car's high beams on without paying attention to oncoming traffic.

I bought the product for group trips and this fits very well. The beam of the low light looks fairly wide, and with the spot light you can see very far. The lamp is light and the quick release of the headband is a plus.
It's worth getting a cold-resistant battery for this as a friend, since the included battery doesn't withstand the cold that well.

It's a little on the heavy side, but built like a tank, and puts out an incredible amount of light for a long time. I've used it for trail running, hiking and camping. Highly recommend.

Very good headlamp, this is now my second one as I threw away the dust of the first model somewhere, but I was so satisfied that I ordered a new one, the quick-roll adjustment on the headband is good, you get the light on your head quickly and firmly, the low and high beams are separate in the lamp, which is a good thing when you don't have to make compromises , the wide light is very wide, the high beam looks really far away. The battery life is good, of course the battery wears out if the lights are on full, but it is less often necessary to have them on full, it is enough to use the low power even with a lower power. I think the price-quality ratio is excellent!

An excellent headlamp. I had it in use at the cabin in the garage, and I have to say that the choice of two different light beams is convenient. Most of all, though, I used a wider-angle bulb whose spotlight does not have a hotspot. It was almost constantly on when working indoors at low power because doing everything is more convenient with a little additional lighting.
One star off the main strap - the tensioning cable system (which is quick to tighten from the turn button) with open straps and a thong that goes over the head and stays in place with a hook - the whole thing is vague and I always had the feeling that this needs to be carefully placed in place. I could imagine that this could be solved somehow better.

This is an excellent headlamp, much better than the original HM65R and HM65R-T. It has better - and removable - headband, more modes and non-dimming output even on higher levels.

With the help of this headlamp, I can do anything outside during the long and dark season in Finland! The lamp can be conveniently turned to point straight down and the dimmed function is excellent for e.g. map reading or leisurely walking. The adjustment of the head loops is the only thing that I slightly criticized and would prefer the traditional adjustment method. This must also be a matter of getting used to, and the strap is at least very sturdy.

Good torch, the battery setup is the best, nice not to constantly buy replacement batteries.

An insanely bright light at full power. Own LED light sources for low and high beam, which also works as a backup if the other one fails? For my own use, a sufficient number of power steps. If you need something more, maybe a low-power red light. However, its use would be quite small for me. The battery life at medium power is perfect and even then there is enough light for most functions and movement in the terrain. The 18650 universal battery is also a plus, so it's easy to take additional cheap power for longer adventures. It's good for the price.

At the moment, the product seems very promising. The light output is quite excellent, e.g. in the forest, at a cottage, at home, wherever you need light. I can't say about the battery life yet, but based on the promises, it also seems pretty good (it will definitely get worse in the cold). Water and dust tightness is a big plus! I highly recommend the product 😆👍

A good and incredibly light and compact lamp. No unnecessary loose threads that would easily break. Close working
works well as well as remote tasks thanks to two separate lights. The strap tightening mechanism is precise and fast. plus that
that, if necessary, works with standard batteries and from USB charging, in which case there is no need to carry a separate charger for the device
included, but the charging is handled in the same way as a mobile phone.

Great head torch. Would be nicer if the cables from the boa were constrained within the head band, but otherwise excellent.

This headlamp is absolutely marvelous ! I bought it based on recommandations from multiple message boards and I'm glad I did. The case is made from aluminium and feels rugged (it helps to dissipate the heat). I wanted a lamp which was powerfull enough with both a floodlight and a narrow beam and which would keep its brightness for a long time (auto dimming in turbo mode is perfectly normal) as I had bad experience on other models (I chose this specific model as it has a better voltage regulator). It works with replaceable Li-ION cells which means you don't need to throw it away when the battery eventually dies and allow for quick change in the field when a single charge won't cut it. The only weakness I see is the charging port being sealed with only a rubber plug. It is not a problem for most outdoor activities but could be a hindrance if you plan on activities which may involve submerging it.

Led lenser was succeeded by this, and oh morjes what amount of light came more !! The small light is great for tinkering and the high beam sees LONG. The headbands go to the thick beanie at maximum size, which is good. Pros of a replaceable battery. Sturdy and high quality construction.

Wow. What a fantastic headlamp! The best I've ever used by far. I'm a Brit and I live in BC, Canada. I did a lot of research into headlamps in this price range, and Fenix came out on top for me. I heard of the Superraptor model of the HM65R via a random Youtube comment, which has slightly shorter run times, but this is because it doesn't step down the brightness as quickly as the other models of HM65R that are available in North America. Then I found the Superraptor 2, which has the new sport headband and better brightness management, and I knew that I had found the one for me. Thank you Finland for sending me this incredible piece of gear! This headlamp stays at max brightness for the flood lamp (400 lumens) for 4 hours, whereas the other models step down to about 150 lumens after about an hour (I can't remember exactly now as it was a little while ago that I did the research). So, 4 hours at max flood is perfect for me. I tried out the max flood with the max spot and it was unbelievably bright. My runs feel like they are wider now! I often end up leaving my runs til late in the day, when I finally convince myself to get out there, and I've been using an old Black Diamond headlamp I've had for about 7 years or so. It was fine, but it was only 130 lumens on high spot. The medium flood is brighter than that on this headlamp! I love it so much. My runs actually feel more expansive now, which is an awesome and unexpected side effect of this headlamp. I don't notice the weight of the headlamp when I'm running. I really like that it has a band over the top of the head, which really holds it in place. Also, the sport-fit headband, where you pull it out to loosen then click it in and rotate it to tighten, works really well. It lets me get it to just the right tightness. The band is also wider and aerated, and feels very comfortable. It charges really quickly via USB-C (about 2-3hrs from 5% to 100%). The battery level indicator is so easy to access and super handy. Overall, I give it 50 out of 5 stars! I absolutely love this headlamp - it has taken my nighttime running to another level. Thank you Fenix and Varuste!

Great flashlight. The head strap is short, there is no head strap. A problem with a thick winter hat. For active recreation in summer, autumn, spring, warm winter, when the head does not freeze.

Quite high quality and versatile headlamp. This gives me an even more suitable battery for winter use, which was my last "selling" feature. Based on a one-night trial, the battery remained at -11c at the lowest power light for about 4 hours, still showing full battery charge after use. However, the headlamp is one of the most essential consumer goods in hiking.

In my experience, it is excellent in the price range and I am not surprised that the "predecessor", even with a slightly lower light intensity, is the test winner. If even more light is needed keep hundreds more. Snow has less power and even on black ground it is great, if not impossible, for example on a bike. I highly recommend.

for a headlamp, the spotlight makes a lot of light even further away in the distance. The Floodlight is missing m.M.n. Another level with approx. 50 lumens between Low 8 lumens and Med 150 lumens, can be roughly balanced with the Eco level for the spot with 50 lumens. Charging via USB-C possible up to 1.9 A, up to approx. 4.16 volts. New headband is handy to adjust, just use the headband without the top headband.
