I used the version before PRG 2.0 for 3 years and now this newer one has been in use for about a month. An excellent jacket, of course it shows in the price. It's a bit of a shame that this new one has places added to both arms for arm badges (adhesive surface/velcro). On the right hand side, the zipper flap sticker sometimes sticks to that surface. It doesn't hurt so much on the left side. Maybe those velcro surfaces should be designed again, because in the first version they fell apart and look the same here. But it really went under the warranty, so at least at this point I won't drop any stars.

Perfect experience thank you

So far, an excellent jacket, the fabric is a little different from regular goretex, it feels more heavy/robust. Size wise its spot on, spacious body, little tighter around the arms, and a little but longer on the sleeves is perfect when stretching/reaching out. Overall build quality is what you can expect from Carinthia.

Tried it under lots of water. Perfect.

To my surprise, the jacket feels significantly more "plastic-like" on the outside than comparable jackets from leading mountain sports manufacturers and therefore rustles more. Unfortunately, I can't find any information as to whether it is a 3-layer or 2.5-layer hardshell. Unfortunately, the weight information is a bit understated. But in terms of functions and number of pockets, that's okay. The jacket allows you to wear additional layers underneath. Although I took a size larger and am of "normal" build, the PRG could be a little wider on the forearm near the elbow. I fear that the narrowness there could create a cold bridge. All in all, I would give the jacket more than 4 stars. However, it wasn't enough for 5. The optics are very good!

The price is favorable, and the jacket is very good.

Product itself is great, but the jacket is stuffed in the compression bag and it didn’t come with the shoulder patch !!! No morale patch unlike my other Catinthia tactical products, the patch is the core accessory.

The jacket is really good so to get a precise idea I am 1.80m tall I have a chest circumference of 106cm and I weigh 88kg I am of athletic build I took a size m which fits me perfectly, I am proud of the life of different users and previously I already had articles of this brand I preferred to take it easy and play it safe. underneath this jacket I can put several underlayers a t-shirt, an additional overlayer as well as a hoody, I would like to point out that the shipment was fast and that really thank you very much to varuste.net

Amazing rain jacket. Went through a few rain storms while camping with this, and it has performed as expected.

Best jacket I ever used in rain. The body doesn't feel any change of temperature wearing the jacket. Experience also showed that the jacket remains clean even if you are on dirty ground.

Peel the fabric from a weaker material than normal. There was a hole in the so-called. Normal use during the first week when going out with the dog. I can't say if the cold -20 air contributed to the breakage of the fabric, I asked the manufacturer and they couldn't say the reason either. Otherwise a very good jacket and a great top wardrobe for layering

Note. I myself have Carinthia PRG 1.0 and not 2.0 even though the receipt says so and as such it was sold to me. First comments: Use behind now for a little over 2 weeks, mostly in damp or warm weather. I haven't gotten in a decent rain and I haven't bothered to take a shower with this. Stylish product. Visit the pharmacy, activity needs and restaurant with mother-in-law. The cut is really good, at least for your own shapes. The hem stays down when your hands are raised and even when jumping, the jacket stays in place. This is not normally a very big concern, but as a long-backed hem it stays high on its own and frying your back and stomach is not a very inspiring idea. This, of course, works well if the belt has stuff that needs to be accessed in a hurry. The quality feels good and durable. The fabric, drawstrings, tighteners work and are well placed. Chest pockets are the best for gloves. Sweat on the jacket comes when the temperature is high and especially if a backpack or similar is on the way. However, the difference to my older competitor’s GTX jacket (28k water column) isn’t worse, so that’s why I wouldn’t dismiss these. So there really is a raincoat, and almost no windbreaker even though the stated water column is "only" 10k. However, I doubt it is higher. So you should be prepared when you like to believe that when the weather changes, even this Swedish can be dressed in front again. However, form a good pair with a Carinthian windbreaker / hoodie in this hustle and bustle. For this use L although otherwise from the manufacturer XL / XXL
