I previously owned the Salomon Quest 4D GTX Sn00, which I was extremely (!) happy with, and I thought this model, which is very similar in name and appearance to my old shoe, was an equivalent successor. Unfortunately, that's not the case. The sole isn't as soft, and the inner lining is harder too. The cut of the sole is the same, and the lacing system is even slightly better. Up to this point, the shoe was perfectly acceptable, and I would have kept it. But then there was an absolute no-go: There's a seam on the inner lining (which my old shoe doesn't have), and it sits right on my ankle, so the rubbing against this seam is painful even after wearing it around the house for a short time. I was reluctant to return the shoe; I couldn't possibly have used it!

These are spectacular boots, both sturdy and comfortable. An excellent purchase, especially for the service I received on this website and the excellent communication with the seller. The wait time was less than a week from Finland to Spain. Thank you so much for everything!

Excellent shoes! I only wear this model to work and my foot stays comfortably secure and doesn't get irritated even after walking about 20,000 steps.

Wore these boots hiking in Norway, bjt heavier than Lowa Zephyrs but the traction of the soles are better. Would recommend!

Comfortable for everyday use, I haven't had time to try them in more tactical use yet. Salomon shoes tend to be VERY narrow -> instead of the standard 45 I took 46 2/3 which works well, as a bonus this has a very spacious toebox when you take such a large size.
