Choosing the right length

Ski length is determined according to body weight and height. The table below is only a guide, however – experience, skill, terrain and individual needs can all influence your choice of length.

Generally speaking, moving through rugged terrain calls for shorter skis than the open mountain plateau. And for beginners, short skis are easier to control. If you’re mainly skiing along tracks, length isn’t the most crucial factor. For good float on deep snow, a slighter wider ski is useful. Lighter skiers might consider a shorter ski; heavier skiers a longer ski. Skiers with loads such as backpacks and sledges might consider a longer ski.

I bought 2 meter skis, the tip rises well to the surface of the hang. I've skied in a field in freezing snow, the scale base hasn't been the most stable in freezing snow, but the glide has been good. Best on a once-skied piste, but it also goes well on a closed track. Plus the separately purchased holding hair and the lightness of the skis.

It's a pleasure to ski these. I couldn't ask for more from a ski. A light and grippy ski for ice and closed projects. Fits just right in the track groove. Holds surprisingly well, even though they are short for skis. Able to calculate the picture of danger even from bends smoothly and steer at speed. You should take as long as possible. At its best with a spring coat or a project with load-bearing layers.

Light and easy to ski. The absence of a steel edge makes the ski more flexible and comfortable to ski, e.g. in the wake of a sled.

Really good choice and beats traditional long forest skis and slipper monsters on a capercaillie hunt. On the plus side of the square ski, note that the square ski is a little more flexible. For yourself, this flexible tip is important when all over the world’s felling is cross-country skiing. Anyway, the edges could be a little loud let alone loud. I chose NNN-BC bindings and an Alaska shoe. 6/5 package. I wouldn’t take a terribly broader profile. Here's everything in place. I am 180cm and 85kg + stuff. I ski with a 200cm model. I also took 58mm skins that really jees.
