Beautiful, functional jacket. Zips and studs are quality. Fleece lining a useful thickness. Inner zipped pocket very welsome. The outer fabric appears to come with some water resistance, so I have still to add waterproofing spray. I have the black jacket. Nigel Tufnel (Spinal Tap): "It's like, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None More Black" It is too dark to want to risk leaving stains with Fjallraven's wax. Yes others have commented that some means to cinch or tighten the substantial hood would be useful, but this is not a problem for me as it stays quite firmly on my napper/head when wearing the fabulous Fjällräven 1960 Logo Hat underneath. Have worn the Greenland Winter for 1 Icelandic winter and have found it to be a trusty item of clothing, breathes well, and totally windproof.

The brand conveys a beautiful image. Too bad that manufacturing is done exclusively in China, causing a lot of logistics.

— Show originalA nice and clean winter jacket. The insulation of the jacket is not enough for the most severe frosts, but at least in southern Finland there are very few severe frosts. The outer fabric can be waxed if desired, so that the jacket can tolerate even a little rain.| Overall rating |
