Classic anorak in wind and water resistant G-1000 with double layers of fabric over the shoulders for extra protection against water and wear. The hardwearing fabric ventilates out a lot of moisture, which reduces the risk of you getting cold due to damp base-layer garments. An excellent choice for snowshoeing, ski touring, long-distance skating and other active winter outdoor pursuits. Side zippers release further excess heat and simplify taking off and putting on. Robust, tried-and-tested features make this a practical, reliable garment that protects against hard winter weather.
The storm hood can be adjusted for a perfect fit and the brim can be folded to either give maximum protection against the wind or more peripheral vision. Detachable synthetic fur edging gives extra protection against swirling snow. The half-length front opening has a zipper and an inside protective flap. Items you want to keep close at hand such as a compass, extra gloves and so on can be kept in the large kangaroo pocket or hand pockets – all of which have zippers. Elastic drawcords can be used to adjust the hem. Velcro adjustments at the sleeve cuffs. G-1000 fabric can be impregnated with Greenland Wax for extra protection against the elements.

Great cut, simple features and wonderful material and build. The only reason it gets 4 stars is the fake fur. Will replace this with real fur. I’d suspect that real fur would raise the rice significantly, so if you aren’t afraid of sewing this is still a great deal as you can pick and cut your own fur to your specifications.

Great anorak, well made. XL is a good fit (I'm 184cm). Easy to put on and take off due to side zips (there is no storm flap in front or behind these zips so I am unsure is these may be cold spots in really crap weather). The anorak is too warm to wear at the moment in Australia, so will have to wait for Autumn / Winter. I have owned numerous anoraks (gortex, cotton/nylon) and this is an excellent replacement for all those items to use outdoors / bush-bashing etc.
