The Halo also features a dedicated avy tools pocket, HiLo helmet holder and single ice-axe attachment for securing your gear. A Revolution in avalanche airbags
A. PIEPS automatic self diagnosis performs full system check on every startup
B. Travel-friendly, fully rechargeable lithium-ion battery support 4+ deployments per charge
C. Cordura airbag made from puncture-resistant automotive material is easy to repack for practice and multiple deployments
D. Jet fan inflates 200 L airbag in 4 seconds, and automatically deflates after 3 minutes to create a potential air pocket
What about this iconic jetforce backpack? Big and heavy but still the best you can find on the market =) Comfortable space for camels (28L / ML) and moves smoothly on air travel in the cabin. It is worth noting that according to Finavia's new rules, electric bags must be unloaded from the backpack, and for those backpacks it means a potential situation where the backpack is inspected by hand. But still an easier travel companion than pressure bottle backpacks. Bead-holder, ski straps and snow safety pockets can be found. 5/5

After all, this came to be tested in use. Tokka days after the dump, I triggered an avalanche that dragged along trees and rocks and ended up in a big drop flat. The backpack kept on the surface right from the start and protected my head well when I'm not used to wearing a helmet ...
The smaller model would fit my back best, but a couple of extra liters for the larger model wouldn’t hurt. However, the large pocket of the S-size backpack can hold basic items: a drinking bladder, a down jacket, a fleece and a lunch box. The outer pocket holds a shovel, probe, skins and rods (Black Diamond Carbon Compactor). The splitboard can only be attached to the backpack in "ski mode", but it still stays firmly attached.
