Carinthia Grizzly Liner

I am very happy with this product. It makes a great liner for the carinthia defence 1 when it gets a bit colder. And during the summer here in South Africa the grizzly alone with a bivy is perfect. Comfy, spacious, soft fleece. Fantastic product!

Super comfy liner with a very nice feeling to the touch, which can be used alone in the summer or as an add-on to a sleeping bag. Very nice!

This is so versatile because of the almost full length zip. It can add a few degrees in the winter but also used in the summer as a light blanket. I'd love to see a two way zip that went the full length and along the bottom so I could poke my feet out and I'd like a little extra room at the bottom as it narrows a little more than optimum comfort (acknowledge that this is likely due to the tapering of the Defense sleeping bags).

A little sleeping bag all on its own! ++ immediate feeling of warmth, it's impressive! => I sleep warm in light clothing (pajamas / t-shirt) with just the Grizzly when it's between 10 and 15 degrees. ++ sweet! + to pair with a sleeping bag for hygiene (because easy to clean, unlike a sleeping bag), for warmth, or even better for versatility: if you have a Grizzly and a sleeping bag, you can play with the temperature: Grizzly by itself OR warmer sleeping bag by itself OR both at the same time for maximum warmth! + it is easy to use the zipper of a sleeping bag even while in the Grizzly - once I had to force the zipper a little when it was fully open - It might have been better to have the closure in the middle, like the Defense sleeping bags, for even faster opening, but perhaps this offset optimizes heat storage - I don't think I've seen a system for attaching the Grizzly to a Defense sleeping bag, it would have been practical, but I may have missed it

As such, it is quite an adequate standard for indoor accommodation and of course works as an inner bag providing additional warmth. If you wear more clothing with this, you should avoid rougher clothing surfaces, because the soft surface of the fleece does not slip like the inner surface of the sleeping bag.

Warm, soft insides are truly quality products!
