New version of Tikka - head torch

The wide beam and two lighting modes of the TIKKA headlamp provide comfortable proximity lighting and allow for some movement. Maximum brightness is 100 lumens, with a range of 55 meters. This headlamp has two lighting modes to adapt the brightness to each situation.

The dimming of the LED light compared to the previous one I bought, years old, Petzlin Darts light surprised. The cheapest model has apparently been made worse than it used to be. So to get a decent bright headlamp it might be worth buying a little more expensive. The new design is great, it’s fun to see the body through the lamp inside. In the dark, the glowing area behind the lamp is also good, you can easily find the headlamp in the dark for at least some time. I haven’t tested how long the glow lasts, but it certainly makes hiking easier.

Convenient and efficient enough for both walking and reading. In principle, it also fits a Petzl helmet, but will not work properly with a visor if the visor is to be lifted from the eyes.
