I've used it in -16 degrees with thick merino socks and it hasn't gotten cold at all.
The only small minus is the grip on icy surfaces. Previously used Bogs held better.
I normally wear 46 or 46 2/3, so size 46 was fine in these. I wanted fairly sturdy and tight-fitting shoes and there was no need to wear a thick sock, so Muckboots' size 46 is just the right size for me.| Overall rating |

Whereas in GTX shoes even at 5 degrees below zero, despite wearing merino socks, your toes start to tingle pretty soon, with these you can hang out without a worry. Not yet test driven in a decent 15-20 degree frost, but already promising at this stage.
