A camping pan is always a compromise. Trangia's pan is certainly lighter, but here both the flounder and the eggs have been fried really nicely. The nockare smoothes along and burns fat properly, and the pan is more slippery than Teflon's. The stem is easy to carve from a tree branch at the campfire site. I recommend taking a small hex or torx screw with you, and a small L key that fits it. They both fit in the hole in the stem, supported by, for example, a small piece of foam, and always go hand-in-hand with you. You don't have to worry about the stem coming off.
