Product description

Flexibility on bike and on foot! The new and improved Pannier Carrying System quickly converts your bike pannier into a backpack. The thermally moulded foam back pad along with padded and adjustable shoulder straps and chest strap guarantee a comfortable carry with excellent ventilation. Low weight (310 g /11 oz.), the carrying system can be easily fixed onto the pannier when not in use. It’s suitable for Front and Back-Rollers (from year 1995), Bike-Packer (from year 1996), Sport-Packer, Bike-Tourer and Bike-Shopper. To fix the pannier onto the carrying system, its top loops are hooked into the pannier’s QL hooks, and the buckles are threaded into the base edge protectors.

Fits my panniers great and is a welcomed add on for my adventures. Works great to take my belongings with me when leaving the bike locked up.

It wasn't compatible with my Ortlieb bag, even though I understood it from the announcement. I have a QL3 mount in my bag. Otherwise just a qualified product and would have been necessary.

This was a little disappointing, the harness stiff, did not conform to the body. The bike bag hangs pretty far from your back. In other words, this did not make the bike bag a comfortable backpack, it will only work as a carrying aid.
