The Back Roller Pluses use a lighter-weight Cordura finish, fully backed by a laminate, which is more eco friendly and expensive than the heavier, arguably tougher PVC versions.

I have to say, I’d give them a 6/5 if I could. I’ve been using them for four months now, covering 50–80 days of riding with them attached.
There are many good points, but here are a few highlights:
* Easy to take along.
* They are waterproof.
* Foolproof locking mechanism and easy to use.
* Easy to adjust.
* The reflectors actually replace my rear light these days.
* I haven't wiped them down or anything; I’ve overstuffed and manhandled them... They’re really good. No marks at all.
* One thread on the lock is fraying (I’ll just burn the end to seal it), but it’s stitched in such a way that it wouldn't matter even if I left it alone.
* They hold their shape well.
* I’ve hauled them around by the handles all over the place—click them into place, and the journey continues.
Are they perfect? Actually, no—but can I really count the black interior as a negative when I knew that before buying them? It would be nice if the inside were a bright white or very light gray so I could find my gear more easily. My aluminum rack shows signs of wear, and I’ve had gear bounce off before, but these locks keep the bags securely in place; I use them on a touring bike, and the riding is rougher than just cruising on smooth asphalt.| Overall rating |
Used daily, no complaints. I took off the shoulder strap, which bothered me. Haven't tested it in heavy rain yet, but it holds up well to normal moisture. Really convenient to put on and take off the bike. A bit difficult to pack due to the shape, I guess it's a matter of getting used to it.
