Durable and pliable hip-length trekking jacket for years of outdoor living. Made from classic G-1000 fabric with stretch panels at the back, under the sleeves and at the front pockets for improved mobility. Detachable, adjustable hood. Hidden two-way zipper in the front, buttons at the bottom hem. Elastic cuffs with velcro adjustments. The jacket has many practical pockets: two large pockets in the front that also provide ventilation and two easily accessible breast pockets and sleeve pockets. I have been wearing the Sarek jacket for half a year now in general use. Works great all year round as a drier weather jacket, and keeps water when needed so that it can get out from under the rain. In fact, I usually sizes in terms of "sandwiched" (190/80), but I must say that this jacket (size L) sits to my kind of damn well. I just returned from a week’s trip through the terrains of Abisko. There, I had the Sarek jacket for the first time in "proper" use. By the way, there is a very comfortable outfit as a hiking jacket. Minus I give from the front pockets. The bottom edge of the pockets is so low that at least I have the edge below the edge of Savota's wider lumbar belt. Thus, when fastening the lumbar belt, the goods in the pockets have to be lifted by hand so that they are not trapped between the stomach and the belt. Otherwise, the pockets are nice, I also had a digital paperback in one pocket and a folded Fjällkarta in the other pocket. All in all, a great jacket, can't help but recommend.
