Just a an all around improvement compared to the previous version. Feels a lot more like a pillow rather than a balloon and the surface material is a lot more comfortable. I use it myself when I'm away from home and it's a lot better than what the places I sleep at offer in terms of comfort. Packs down small and the weight is nice. Can't say anything about durability except that it has lasted well while I sleep in beds or on the floor
