I haven't been able to use the poles on the hill yet, but my first impression is positive because they are light. Carbon fiber is not super stiff, but flexes a lot more than aluminum poles or, for example, carbon fiber cross-country ski racing poles, but hopefully they will last longer. The part of the pole with the spike seems a bit thick compared to Black Diamond or Scott poles, but I guess they will also bite into the snow and hopefully into the ice sufficiently. A cheap pole for carbon fiber, in my opinion.
