Product description

The Savotta Askare is a spacious and versatile hip pack made from 500D Cordura designed for a range of specialized tasks. It offers flexible internal organization and multiple external attachment points. You can easily attach it to backpacks in different ways, making it part of a modular and scalable backpack system for added convenience.

40 mm SR buckle belt (max circumference ca. 145 cm) attached to stabilizing wings
Flat open sided compartment on the body side for stowing the belt

Savotta does not disappoint. The Askare is as sturdy and well designed as they come. Attaches perfectly to the Kahakka 25L. Although advertised as a hip pack, works just as well as a sling. Tip: you will most likely need elastic organizers and/or trinket pouches to store everything neatly - and efficiently. Consider purchasing a couple such solutions together with the Askare.

Excellent product. I use it as a sling bag on motorcycle trips. All the small items I need are quickly available. Quite a price, but I probably won't need to buy a new one for a while.

A larger Trangia set, 450g gas, a couple of food ration bags and small tilpehööri fits on the ride. In other words, practically the entire camping kitchen. The clips, i.e. 2M WB SR PALS Mount 25mm 4pcs, are still attached to the loops so it's handy to attach and detach from the Jääkäri L's back! It also works as a good waist bag for commuting or with the shoulder strap as an everyday bag. (Greetings to Savota, I would be happy to welcome shoulder straps with proper padding that are sold separately.) This year's best purchase award has been awarded.

Good quality Bigger than the small one which fits my glasses and my mobil and additional my keys and car key. The Askare is able to fit a lot more. A 0,5l waterbattle, some bars and a rainjacket fit inside. It is definitly worth a look.
