I haven't owned studded shoes before, so I don't have a previous point of comparison. But these really revolutionized winter running. They grip well in the snow and on slippery surfaces, even with a larger pulling dog. The last is wide enough and they absorb shock well. I'm really happy, these are a joy to run with in any weather. They're agile and roll well. I thought I'd try these in orienteering in the summer. My feet stayed very warm at -20 degrees with one layer of merino wool socks. The size chart was too tight. The right size was the size chart size + 1/2 number (EU).
