My first impression and experiences with the poles are positive. I have tried them on a splitboard while climbing a hill. The pole locks work well, and the poles shorten quickly for skiing in a small space. However, in my experience, the poles cannot be shortened to their minimum length without tightening the locking bands, as the lowest part of the pole tube is thinner than the rest of the pole. With normal tightening, which allows the pole lock to be easily opened and closed, the pole must be left about 5cm longer than the minimum length in the folded mode, so that it stays tightly folded. These few extra centimeters can affect the skiing comfort of shorter skiers, for example, when the poles hang on the side of the backpack. Overall, a high-quality pole that will hopefully serve you for many years.
