Climbed a few times, very well able to place the toes on even small surfaces. The heel also has a good grip on heel hooks, etc. It doesn't feel as good as in soft shoes, but the toes can handle it much better because they are stiffer. However, not too stiff in my opinion. I took tight shoes that don't swing. They are comfortable on the feet and there is no need to take them off between strokes.

Now a few have been used. A really good basic shoe for a beginner.
