The Best in Class Fenix HM61R V2.0 Headlamp is upgraded for better performance. The large, glove-friendly switch allows you to quickly cycle through five brightness levels including a max 1600 turbo mode. Double tap the switch to independently access three red light modes—no more cycling through white to get to red. The HM61R V2.0 is also a great right-angle flashlight, when removed from its headband, which includes a magnetic base and belt clip for continued hands-free use. Powered by an included high-capacity 18650 battery, this light can emit light for up to 300 hours on Eco mode. — Show originalAfter a couple of weeks of use, it seems really good. The headband is comfortable and can also be attached to a helmet. The light output is quite sufficient for the dark forest. The device emits a small hum depending on the power of the light, but it is such a quiet sound that you cannot hear it unless it is completely silent and you hold the lamp close to your ear. The charging cable should be usb-c, that's a minus.| Overall rating |

Pretty good, brighter (and stays brighter for longer) than other Fenixh lights I've used (e.g. the HM65R). But the Fenix charging cable situation is ridiculous: Yes, non-standard connectors are better for IP ratings/robustness/corrosion resistance. Why on earth would you make two completely incompatible connectors? And if you're doing that, why the hell would you make them look almost exactly the same? Mind boggling stupidness.

Really nice, built quality is excelent, I was able to walk through a forest in the night for about 2 hours. The "third setting" of light is more than enough for walking and most of activities, for moments I was switching to the most powerful setting, wich easily reaches 100 meters and more. the day after battery was still above 75%. Recommended : )

A friend's other brand (albeit high-quality) headlamp lasted approx. 30 min in those conditions, but the Fenix was usable for 5 hours and thanks to it we got to the deserted hut in the slippery rocks. This lamp is also my trusty friend when jogging in the winter. Thanks to the manufacturer, Fenix has the right price-quality ratio.| Overall rating |
