My fourth pair. Solid and dependable. Working as a national park ranger during the short Icelandic summers means these trousers get everything thrown at them. Sharp lava rocks, moss and dusty trails are easily brushed off. The polyester cotton is a good compromise for breathability and quick drying. With all the zips the Kebs are highly adjustable for varied temperatures and wind. I have tried waxing them with the Greenland wax, but have had better results using Fabsil, a silicone spray, or Nikwax cotton proof liquid with a wash cycle. Ultimately I just wear overtrousers if the rain is torrential and/or horizontal!
